IS PREPARATION FOR GK / BA / GA MUST BEFORE THE CAT ?:

Most of the people preparing for MBA entrance exams ignore GK/GA. This is a big mistake.

Even though CAT does not have question based on GK/GA, you will certainly need it for the second stage that is for group discussion and Interview. GK/GA cannot be improved overnight and requires lot of continious hard work.

To gain knowledge on current affairs is a process and it takes long time. We recommend that everyone here read at least one daily newspaper and 3 monthly magazines. You may watch informative TV shows as well.

Some of the written exams do have questions based on GK/BA/GA and you will certainly have advantage over others if you are strong in this area. You never know when the pattern of the exam changes , there is always a surprise element in these management entrance exam.
